At their new building in Truganina, Isuzu looked to consolidate a range of facilities into the one space. The head office now houses offices, a range of training and meeting rooms, a showroom and spare parts warehouse. ISM constructed a wide array of joinery for Isuzu encompassing the foyer and reception area, boardroom and executive lounge, office spaces and the lunchroom.

In the foyer/reception area we built the impressive reception desk, made from formed Corian. Adjacent to the reception space a wall panel was finished in Polytec Ravine ‘Natural Oak’.

Myrtle Flame timber veneer was the striking wall panelling chosen for walkways in the Isuzu boardroom. The same veneer was also used inside the boardroom on a sliding wall panel that covers the flat screen TV. In the kitchen next to the executive lounge ISM installed white gloss laminate cabinetry and an orange splashback.

An eye-catching feature in the office space is the use of Polytec Ravine ‘Natural Oak’ laminated timber baton screens. Equally eye-catching are the custom angular bookshelves constructed of white birch multi-ply with a black 2pac painted frame.

The staff kitchen and lunchroom features a YDL deluxe stone ‘Semento’ bench top, with gloss laminate cabinetry. ISM also installed acoustic ceiling ‘cloud planels’ to mitigate excessive noise, and manufactured the upholstered bench seating and acoustic panelling from Polytec Ravine ‘Natural Oak’.

The new Isuzu headquarters feature a striking combination of natural wood finishes, hard wearing benchtops and colourful gloss laminates and stands as a modern, flexible workspace that can effortlessly change and adapt to future needs.
